You must be 18 or over. By using the app you confirm that you are.
Every person on the map chose to join and can leave or pause whenever they want. Installing the app on someone else's phone, or pressuring somebody into sharing, is a misuse of the service and in many places against the law. We will close accounts used that way.
SOS and crash detection alert the people in your Circle. They do not call the emergency services, and they depend on a working phone, a signal and battery. Always call the emergency services yourself when it matters.
Location comes from the phone and can be wrong, late or missing. Crash detection can miss a real crash and can flag something that was not one. Use your judgement, not only the app.
Paid plans are billed through your Apple account and renew yearly unless you cancel at least a day before renewal. Manage or cancel in iOS Settings under your Apple account. Refunds are handled by Apple under their policy.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will say why when we can.
The app is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, Giovum is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
